Essential expands its offering of waterborne aliphatic
polyurethane/acrylic hybrid dispersions.

Come visit us at ICE 2007-Toronto, Booth #606.

Essential R4388 and R4310 have been developed
as solvent-free and high solids aliphatic polyurethane/acrylic hybrids.

Essential R4388 has been designed for excellent abrasion resistance. R4388 offers a good combination of film hardness, flexibility, and toughness making it an ideal polymer candidate for topcoat applications.

Key Benefits:
• Low VOC (45g/L)
• Solvent-free – nMP-free
• Abrasion resistance
• High solids

Essential R4310 is based on an aliphatic diisocyanate and a polyether polyol which has excellent hydrolytic stability and elastomeric properties. R4310 is non-yellowing and exhibits high elongation, excellent flexibility and rebound.

Key Benefits:
• Low VOC (45g/L)
• Solvent-free – HAPs-free
• Elastomeric
• Hydrolytic stability

In addition, Essential is excited to offer Essential R4105, a new polyurethane dispersion that has been designed for excellent mar resistance.

Key Benefits:
• Excellent mar resistance
• Outstanding hardness
• Good chemical resistance and recovery
