Essential R4370 Solvent-Free, Urethane/Acrylic Hybrid Excels as a Two-Component Coating.

Essential R4370 has shown excellent performance when used in a trimer cross-linked, two-component system. Tests reveal excellent performance in:

• Chemical Resistance
• Taber Abrasion Resistance
• MEK Double Rub Resistance
• Mar Resistance
• Impact Resistance

Tests were performed on a low VOC starting point formulation of R4370 (<250 g/L). The outstanding performance test results show near perfect protection of the substrate against the above tested stresses.

In choosing a specific trimer to use for cross-linking; Essential Industries recommends Rhodocoat X EZ-D401 or Rhodocoat X EZ-M502, both manufactured by Rhodia.

Essential R6010/R6070 Works Great in Brushable Applications.

The viscosity of Essential R6010/R6070 can be increased to 300-600 cps with Acrysol RM825 Rheology Modifier, manufactured by Rohm & Haas, for effective use in brush coating applications.
